Who is Elmira Wylde?

As a lifelong reader and lover of stories, Elmira Wylde has always been inspired by the magic of words. At a young age, she was often found in the elementary school library rather than the playground, enjoying the whimsy worlds created by Dr. Seuss and the thrills of R.L. Stine’s mysteries.

Later in life, she discovered L.J. Smith, Christopher Pike, and Richelle Mead. These authors helped her dive deep into her creative mind, where she fell in love with creating her own worlds. Elmira continued to write young adult stories for several years, until she finally took the leap into the romance genre and never turned back.

In early 2023, she finally decided to bring her own tales to life and began drafting her first book outline - until she scrapped it, started over, and tossed the next three before gaining traction with A New Year’s Ride. She sank her teeth into the world of motorcycles and bad boys, completely submerged in a world that was building in her mind. Not long after she finished, she gave the book to her best friend who called every night for weeks, begging her to finish writing and publish her work.

In August of 2025, Elmira decided it was time. She had wanted to be an author her whole life, and circled December of 2025 on her calendar. This is the year, this is the month that Elmira has decided to step into a new chapter of her life and finally hit that publish button.

When not crafting stories, Elmira is found at home, surrounded by her cherished pets – including her dogs, chickens, cats, and bearded dragon – alongside her husband and children. In addition to writing, she has a creative spirit and a passion for sewing, painting, and playing video games with her family.

Elmira believes every day is a new adventure just waiting to happen.
